Purpose:
A scenic tour in the hills and valleys of Finger Lakes Wine Country for sports and classic cars of any vintage. The tour includes a trip around the original 6.6 mile road course and parade laps around the current Grand Prix course.
New for 2010: Choose from two available routes, Scenic or Spirited to better fit your driving style and desired experience. Please mark your choice on the entry form.
The Scenic Route consists of cross country highways uniquely designed to capture the essence of the region, with vast vistas of rolling countryside magnified by our breath-taking extraordinary Finger Lakes, dotted with 19th century farms and quaint villages, as well as numerous rich wineries that can captivate the senses. Of course key rest stops are your choice. Highway surfaces are tight asphalt, generally state highways and main county roads that essentially reduce the risk of stone rash to the surfaces of your fine machine.
Drive the Spirited Route, and experience all the advantages of the Scenic Route, plus the challenging courses that exercise the core components of your fine tuned sports car or sedan; enjoy remote rural roads, tight switchbacks, unique twisties, rolling bluffs and distinct surprises at every turn…a Drivers delight!!! Highway surfaces are the same as route one, BUT also consist of roadways similar to the Original Watkins Glen Grand Prix routes with some loose and irregular surfaces to navigate.

Cost:
$100 per car. Entry fee includes a commemorative dash plaque, a scenic rallye route amidst the hills and valleys of Finger Lakes Wine Country including a trip around the original 6.6 mile road course, parade laps around Watkins Glen International, dinner at the track and two (2) weekend general admission tickets for the Sahlen’s Six Hours at The Glen.
