Volunteer at the Grand Prix Festival of Watkins Glen

Many of you know that there used to be a photographer taking pictures of your cars during the Grand Prix Festival. Last year he took a year off.

For 2013 he will be back with a slightly different format.

As each Stone Bridge Driver Event gets their two laps of the “Old Course”, pictures of the cars will be taken by photographers James Bastone and Stephen Rossini.

As in the past, pictures will be taken somewhere at the Stone Bridge vicinity (Please don’t slow down to pose for your Kodak moment) and one additional location somewhere along the 6.6 mile “Old Course”.

In the past you were able to purchase photos and photo related items at a booth on site at the festival. That has changed for this year.

The only way to make those purchases will be to go online to the Highland Design Studio website at www.highlanddesignstudio.com. That way they can focus all of their manpower on taking great pictures.

Stephen Rossini is a veteran Glenora Run participant and a renowned racing photographer whose work has appeared in Road & Track, Vintage Motorsport Magazine and Motor Trend among many other professional credits, and the owner of Highland Design Studios.

And of course James Bastone has provided photos of Stone Bridge Drivers at the Grand Prix Festival from 1994 through 2011. He has also photographed for Indianapolis Motor Speedway, NFL and NBA events. Past photos (1994 - 2011); are still offered for sale at www.digidids.com

While 2013 photos will be offered at www.highlanddesignstudio.com.
